Inquiry before identity.
Jaffri’s writing begins where explanation becomes defense: with the stories people tell about freedom, love, family, morality, ambition, and themselves.
His nonfiction presses philosophical questions into contemporary life. His fiction examines what those questions feel like inside rooms, relationships, memories, and inherited silences. Across both forms, the aim is not reassurance. It is precision.
The current body of work includes five manuscripts spanning philosophical nonfiction, literary fiction, and an autobiographical narrative rooted in questions of freedom and identity.
